I don\u2019t know, that\u2019s something I\u2019ll leave up to you to decide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What I do know, is that I like to come up with ideas and make them happen. A lot of things seem impossible, until you try. It will either work out, or you&#8217;ll learn something. The only sure way of nothing happening, is not doing things.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I started working under the \u2018Shellac\u2019 nom-de-plume around the year 2000. I&#8217;ve never limited myself to one domain, simply because ideas are limitless. It&#8217;s not about being perfect, it&#8217;s about getting out there and giving it your all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here are some of the things I\u2019ve done.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Painting<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Various acrylic paintings. (like a lot&#8230;)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Drawing<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The gag comic \u2018Freddy\u2019 that ran from 2002 until 2022.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>6 Freddy-albums.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The graphic novel \u2018Kurdt\u2019 about the life of Kurt Cobain. (text and drawings)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An poetry compilation together with Akim. a.j. Willems. (illustrations)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Various event posters, cards, etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Various stickers for my <a href=\"https:\/\/shellacdesign.com\/index.php\/be-nice\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"20\">BE NICE<\/a> project.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Music<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Music and lyrics for 2 hiphop albums and various singles.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Various video clips.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Lighting design<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Lighting design for plays, dance performances and music shows.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Touring the BENELUX as a lighting tech.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Touring the USA as a lighting tech.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Publishing<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>9 published books. (Freddy, Kurdt, etc.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 music albums.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Various singles.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Comedy<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Standup comedy in Dutch, English, French between 2006 and 2020.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Started 2 comedy clubs. (Leuven, Grimbergen)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Open-mic tours in the USA between 2009 and 2011. <br>(Seattle, Pittsburgh, San Francisco, Oakland, Los Angeles)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A documentary on the open mic comedy scene in the USA.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>\u2026and I\u2019m not done yet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you want to contact me, just send me a DM on instagram.
